The Aurelia Dress

The Aurelia Dress is an incredible handmade 70's maxi dress with more frills than you could dream of! Featuring a very full skirt in a beautiful emerald green floral, it has floaty sleeves and can be worn off the shoulders. It also has a detachable belt to pull in the waist. Made by hand using a "Vogue Paris Original" pattern the dress features one of their labels.   

In February 1949, Vogue Patterns launched the Designer Line Vogue Paris Original. Those patterns were made from the designers’ own working muslin patterns and featured dresses and suits from eight famous Parisian dressmakers: Pierre Balmain, Jacques Fath, Jacques Heim, Lanvin, Molyneux, Paquin, Robert Piguet et Schiaparelli. The dress has some light staining through the ruffles but otherwise is in good vintage condition.

Made of what feels like a cotton mix with polyester silk lining.
